Andrew Hall - Managing Director of Alken, compilor of the directory of the world’s aluminium industry "Aluminium Semi-Fabricators of the World" (originally published by the Düsseldorf-based company Aluminium-Verlag/Alu Media) and the "Aluminium Intelligence Service". During the period from 1985 has visited most of the countries in the world with a downstream aluminium industry for in-depth research of companies operating in the industry.

Previously President of Andrew Hall Trade Development, based in Tokyo, developing trade between companies in the UK and Japan, and Partner in Pacific Research Group, based in Tokyo, specialising in reports and consultancy on Japan’s hi-tech industries and the aluminium business worldwide.

Andrew Hall is also Contributing Editor to the American magazine "Light Metal Age", Editorial Consultant to the British magazine "Aluminium International Today", Editorial Consultant to the Italian magazine "Al", published by Edimet in Brescia, Italy and Editorial Consultant to the Japanese magazine "Alutopia".

Andrew Deeks - Andrew has spent the past 25 years working in the aluminium industry, principally in the extrusion sector. For the past 5 years he has been an independent business consultancy specialist in strategic management and marketing studies for the aluminium industry, providing marketing services.

During his career within the industry, Andrew was the UK Business Development Director for Sapa UK, helping to acquire extrusion and downstream user businesses for the Group. He was MD of Sapa’s extrusion company in the UK, leading the project to re-invest in Sapa’s extrusion facilities, and was chair of Marketing for the Aluminium Extruders’ Association. In addition to his UK responsibilities, Andrew was part of a Sapa AB project team investigating and acquiring extrusion businesses in France, Belgium and China.

James King - an independent consultant with more than 30 years of continuous experience in applied economic analysis. Formerly Research Director for Aluminium with Commodities Research Unit Ltd (CRU), London, and since 1980 an independent consultant specialising particularly in the economic and commercial aspects of the aluminium industry from raw materials to finished products. Clients include the major producers, customers and suppliers, international organisations, government bodies, financial institutions, management consultants, etc.

Research is based upon existing knowledge of the markets, with additional information acquired by field studies. Such studies would typically include discussions with Aluminium Associations, traders, investment houses, Departments of Industry and others connected with the industry, including personal visits to individual companies in the area under research.
